2010 Schuylkill County Fair
 
A member of the Schuylkill County Fair committee recently contacted Gary, KA3FUL regarding a potential HAM radio exhibit at the upcoming Schuylkill County Fair.  This opportunity has been made open to both SARA and TWA.  In its current proposition it will be a table of general information pertaining to amateur radio as well as  on-air demonstrations.  SARA has participated with the fair in the past and we are being welcomed with open arms once again.  There is no registration fees for non-profit vendors.
 
The Schuylkill County Fair schedule is as follows -   Monday August 2nd thru Saturday August 7th, there is not a preview day this year. Opening day is Monday August 2nd.
 
Below is a schedule of times that the fair will be in operation, we are looking for hams to operate at the event table. If you are interested Gary may be contacted via email or on his cell phone (570) 640-7993.  It is very important that we have coverage at all times and get the word out regarding amateur radio and it's uses.

Passes will not be issued for the fair, entrance will be available at no charge on a per-name basis at the gate.
Also, we request that there is a minimum of 2 persons per hour shift.

IMPORTANT!!
 
We still need coverage for all day Saturday, as of now KA3FUL is the only one scheduled for the day, we need at least 2 people per hour at the exhibit. Any assistance that you can provide for that day would be greatly apprecited.  All that we ask is for 2 hours of your time.  THANK YOU IN ADVANCE!!
